Dear Editor, Re: “Rolling stop in Richmond not worth a ticket,” Letters, Feb. 21 To the officer that issued Mr. Kurian a ticket, I’d like to express my thanks. There is so much wrong with Mr. Kurian’s letter that I don’t know where to start.

Have you ever stepped out of the house, looked around and realized just how much trust we place in total strangers? You could be standing at a crosswalk, waiting to step onto the road, and a driver slows to let you cross.

Dear Editor, The City of Richmond should follow Vancouver’s example, immediately stop accepting cash for property taxes. What’s wrong with a good old cheque drawn on a Canadian bank? Be proactive and stop money laundering.

Dear Editor, Re: Mixed feelings about running yellow lights in Richmond, Letters, Feb. 14 I agree with recent letters regarding driving in Richmond. It’s simply not fun at all and often dangerous.

Dear Editor, I am full time in a wheelchair, and have a wheelchair adapted van. Following the snow last week, I found that a couple of malls that I went to in Richmond had plowed the snow into only the disabled parking spots.

It was only when it was pointed out to me by another player on the team that my eyes were opened. After 12 years as a youth soccer coach, I believed I was alert to the signals of an actual or potential bullying situation.
