Dear Editor, I would urge you to conduct an investigation into Richmond RCMP’s highly aggressive ticketing practices. I was travelling on River Road and stopped at the Terra Nova junction after turning left.

The 21st Century has brought many alterations to the way Canadians relate to currency.

Do any of you remember the 1962 song called “Breaking Up is Hard to Do” by Neil Sedaka? If so, you are officially old. It’s alright, I remember it, too. Anyway, my version is called “Cleaning Up is Hard to Do.

Dear Editor, Historically I’ve been furious when I see people running a red light. You know the ones, the light goes yellow and they speed up to get through or just cruise through as it turns red.

Dear Editor, Re: “Time to cull raccoons,” Letters, Feb. 7 A recently published letter blames raccoons for the current blighted conditions on lawns across Richmond. Indeed these conditions are seen all across the Metropolitan area.

It was a case of “ask and ye shall receive” on Tuesday when we posted to our Richmond News Facebook page a request for readers to send in their photos of the snow. A ton of great photographs poured in, one we even deemed worthy of our front page.

Dear Editor, Re: “Beaches ‘clear-cut’,” “Driftwood converted to sawdust on dykes,” Letters, Jan. 31. The beach along the dike from Gilbert Road to the pier at No. 2 Road took a big hit with both water and logs, etc.
