Dear Editor, Re: “RCMP Supt. has Richmond Mounties’ backs over rolling stops,” Letters, March 10. I have been following, with great interest, the letters regarding ticketing for rolling stops.

Open letter to mayor and council, Being that you are asking for suggestions on how to reuse the old Minoru aquatic building, here‘s mine.

Re: “City council argues over agenda time,” News, March 7. In reading an article about some councillors requesting/needing more time to review information, I was shocked at the response of Mr. McNulty and Mayor Brodie.

Dear Editor, It’s common to hear the refrain about how much Richmond has changed.

Vacations are not the time to be obsessively looking at work emails — and I wasn’t...for the most part. But in came not one, but two somewhat provocative emails.

Analysis of the 2015 federal election suggested that two groups had chosen to cast ballots in overwhelming numbers compared with previous democratic contests: Canadians between the ages of 18 and 34, and Indigenous Canadians.

Dear Editor, Re: “Rolling stop in Richmond not worth a ticket,” Letters, Feb. 21. Road safety is one of our top priorities in Richmond. Enforcement and education go hand in hand.

Dear Editor, Re: “Don’t take away my Airbnb,” Letters, Feb. 28. My understanding, in attending several council meetings on the topic, is that our esteemed mayor and council are not trying to kill AirBnB as a concept.

Dear Editor, Re: “Richmondite finds $8,000 cash package on the ground,” Richmond-News.com, Feb. 28. It is no surprise that Kyle Shury returned the money to the rightful owner.

Dear Editor, Re: “Some Richmond parents out to lunch,” Letters, Richmond-News.com, March 3. When I saw the headline, I knew I ought to read it with as much humour as possible. But I couldn’t. Simply, because it isn’t funny.
