Dear Editor, The City of Richmond should follow Vancouver’s example, immediately stop accepting cash for property taxes. What’s wrong with a good old cheque drawn on a Canadian bank? Be proactive and stop money laundering.

The City of Richmond should follow Vancouver’s example, immediately stop accepting cash for property taxes.

What’s wrong with a good old cheque drawn on a Canadian bank? Be proactive and stop money laundering.

If the name on the cheque does not represent the owner of the property, do not accept payment and notify FINTRAC.
