Dear Editor, Steveston has always been a popular place to visit in our community. Whether you’re going for a coffee date, or just to sightsee, everyone loves to visit this famous village. But, so much has changed in Steveston.

Dear Editor, Re: “Get used to that smell,” News, Nov. 25. Harvest Power is the source of the foul odour that residents and businesses have endured daily all across Richmond since it started its operation in 2012.

Organic composting stench has some in a tizzy

P ronounce the word frugal. I’ll bet you didn’t linger over those two syllables. Frugal not only sounds, but also looks, frugal — it’s economical and sparing, in perfect accord with its meaning.

Dear Editor, I am writing this letter to congratulate and commend the Thompson Community Centre. I am not sure if you are aware, but the staff at the community centre won an award on last week.

Dear Editor, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and the Canadian government must be commended for opening Canada’s doors to 25,000 Syrian refugees. This is a very desirable, noble and compassionate gesture to help those in need.

Dear Editor The dust hasn’t settled on the previous tall ship fiasco that left behind a string of useless pilings as a testimonial to the fact that city hall has absolutely no maritime experience.

Dear Editor, Re: “Grocery store option coming to Steveston?” News, Oct. 21 . As a resident who has been living in Richmond for more than 43 years, I have a voice and a vote. We definitely do not need another grocery store in Steveston.
