Boys will be boys. And so, apparently, will the grown men we elect to govern the country. Just when we thought the level of debate in parliament couldn't sink any lower, along comes an event to prove us wrong.

If you held a participating permanent life insurance policy with Canada Life, Manulife, Mutual of Canada or Sun Life up until 1999, chances are that you received a bunch of free shares in one or more of those companies that same year.

Adults, unfortunately, don't often listen to children. And, also unfortunately, when they do, they aren't always great listeners. It's a shame, because what children can tell us is incredibly valuable.

The Editor, It is crunch time. The proposal by Air Canada, WestJet and the other VAFFC airlines must be stopped. Tankers loaded with jet fuel cannot be allowed in the Fraser River. You can help.

Open letter to mayor and council, My home backs onto one of the elementary school yards, and I am absolutely thrilled when the snow geese arrive each winter and the fields are covered with beautiful white birds.

A friend's claim that good hosts make bad guests, and vice versa, left me feeling skeptical. I started to watch for signs of this pattern.
