This is a particularly risky time of the year to be a pedestrian. It gets dark early, and is often pitch black outside by the time many commuters hit the road for home.

Open letter to MP Alice Wong, I would like to express my pride for the great work your federal government is doing for Canadians.

Christmas for kids used to mean Lego, Battleship and Barbie. It still does, except now digital devices have been added to the mix.

I just don't like winter.

The Editor, There was a senior Richmondite who used to come to the Lansdowne Zellers every day in his scooter to have a meal and, more importantly, I think, socialize with the kind, friendly waitresses there at the diner.

There is increasing pressure on NDP leader Adrian Dix to provide some clear indications of what kind of policies he would implement should he become premier.

When I was in high school I used to daydream about being a musician. These daydreams featured an older, slimmer, more sophisticated me striding into a high class café with my guitar.
