Dear Editor, Re: “Bernier put on hot seat,” News, March 15. An actual funding announcement! In the run-up to the May 9 provincial election, the B.C.

Dear Editor, Re: “Legal zoning doesn’t make it right,” Letters, March 8. The intrusion of megahomes, probably “rooming houses,” in once quiet, established Richmond neighbourhoods is distressing.

Dear Editor, Re: “Legal zoning doesn’t make it right,” Letters, March 8. John Edmondson’s letter concerning the effect of megahomes on established neighborhoods rang very true for my wife and me.

Dear Editor, Re: “News does its job for community,” Letters, March 22. The Richmond News is a great communication tool for all the communities in Richmond.

And we’re off … on another election campaign. In just over six weeks, most of us in B.C. will have the opportunity to make our mark to help chart the course for our fine province. I can already see the eyes rolling.

Dear Editor, Re: Ironworkers Union supporting the BC Liberals Massey Bridge project. I was interested to see that the Ironworkers Union Local 97 is in support of the BC Liberals’ plan to build a high-level bridge at the Massey Tunnel crossing.

Dear Editor, A letter to your newspaper recently indicated that it is not good for a “progressive society” to go back to the “antiquated mentality of the past.

Dear Editor, Re: “Are we stuck with our lot?,” Richmond News, Letters, March 17. Mr Currie: You are indeed stuck with your lot, but not because your property has lost its land-use (LUC) zoning status.
