All the Ugly and Wonderful Things by Bryn Greenwood is a book that will stay with me for years to come. I have never read anything like it, and don’t expect to ever find something like it again.

Most people — including patients and healthcare providers — may think of healthcare as what doctors, nurses and other allied health professionals do for you.

Dear Editor, The way city council votes on restricting the size of farmland homes will tell us much about whether we have democratic representation in Richmond. If democracy is in play, the councillors will take one of two approaches.

Dear Editor, Richmond KPU (Kwantlen Polytechnic University), like their other campuses in Langley and Surrey, offer some unique ACCESS programs for people with disabilities.

As far as election coverage goes, I think we’ve outdone ourselves — at least in terms of quantity. But don’t expect any campaign stories in today’s paper. We typically refrain from writing anything political in the last issue before an election.

Dear Editor, The vast majority of those familiar with the situation would agree there is a need to improve traffic flow on Highway 99 at the Massey Tunnel.

Dear Editor, Re: “Calling all RCMP,” Letters, April 26. The suggestion to re-designate roads is ludicrous. I have been living on Steveston Highway for more than 21 years. I don’t need a name change to remind me that it is not really a highway.

Dear Editor, Re: “Candidates ‘bridge’ gaps in platforms,” News, April 28. In the recent campaign debates about replacing the George Massey Tunnel, Liberal candidate Ms. Teresa Wat reportedly said that “no tunnels were built in earthquake zones”.
