Richmond is young and with huge potentials. People of Richmond have done great jobs for decades. When we celebrate our achievements, we also need to face some irritating problems that prevent it from becoming the most liveable city we desired.

My family and I love living in Richmond and we want to continue to for decades more. I hope to contribute to Richmond’s continued success and growth in a smart, well planned, and sustainable way.

As a lifelong resident, married for 31 years with three children, I believe that Richmond is a great place to live, work and raise a family. I strongly believe in giving back to the community and have been an active volunteer .

Our children deserve the best education we can provide – not just the best we can afford. This is the most important duty of a school trustee.

Donna Sargent and her husband Chris have lived in Richmond for over 25 years and have two children. Completing her fourth term as School Trustee, Donna is currently the Chairperson of the Board of Education.

I was born in Tianjin, China and educated at Sichuan University, obtaining a BA. I immigrated to Richmond in 2002. Along with my wife Jun Ling, we are very supportive at public education system with two children at Richmond schools.

Matt Pitcairn is a lifelong Richmond resident and has deep connections to the community.

I grew up in Richmond and graduated from Richmond High and UBC. My wife, Lynn, and I have been married since 1982 and have three adult children.

I've served on Richmond Council since 1968, and helped found the Agricultural Land Reserve as Richmond MLA from 1973 to 1975. I helped develop Metro Vancouvers Food Security Strategy in 2011, as Chair of Agriculture for Metro Vancouver.
