The Editor, Anyone who thinks the premier’s $3.5 billion Massey Bridge vanity project will reduce congestion, is dreaming, because the proposed bridge will create traffic chaos so bad that today’s congestion will look good in comparison.

For me, the Massey Tunnel Replacement Project problems, such as defiled estuary, misused billions and traffic constipation, multiply and merge like a nightmare interchange.

The first regular reporting gig I had when I started at the Richmond News almost 10 years ago was covering the then Richmond School Board — since renamed the Board of Education…foretelling of school closures? Who knows.

Basketball superstar Kareem Abdul-Jabbar had a nice second career as an actor in such films as Airplane! and guest starring roles on TV throughout the ‘80s. He has since made a career as an author.

Dear Editor, Re: “Fire lit under LGBTQ issue,” News , Sept. 16. It was interesting reading all the reasons Dr. Eric Yung, school trustee, gave for not implementing specific references to sexual orientation in its code of conduct.

Open letter to the Richmond School Board of Trustees, How did Dixon elementary end up on the list of recommended schools for closure? Dixon is one of the very few schools in Richmond that is actually at or over its capacity.

Dear Editor, I am writing to express my disgust, outrage and confusion over Dixon elementary being on the school closure list for Richmond. First of all, Dixon is one community, regardless of English or French.

Dear Editor, Fifty plus years ago my fellow students and I used to sit around and prognosticate about the future of mankind and the planet we inhabit.
