Sticking to your right-of-way is important for road safety

Next week, the Vancouver International Wine Festival kicks off a week of tastings, seminars, lunches, brunches, and dinners. It’s Canada’s biggest wine fest, and this year it features the Wines of Canada.

Dear Editor, The Feb. 3 edition of The Richmond News was an enlightening and thought-provoking read. The common theme that ran throughout was that educating ourselves and bridging gaps allows us to live in peace and understanding.

Dear Editor, Re: “All megahomes aren’t farmhomes,” Letters , Feb. 8 From what I have seen in this paper, there is a lot of outrage at large homes being built on ALR land, but dissenting opinions are few and far between.

I was born in Winnipeg, grew up in Calgary and lived in Ottawa. In other words, I can do snow. In fact, once I dig out my long johns, I love the stuff, even if it causes a certain amount of havoc.

Dear Editor, We live on Bird Road on the east side of Shell Road. Our neighbourhood is changing. Most of the lots on our side of the neighbourhood come close to 1/2 acre lots.
