Arjun Badh and the Richmond Sockeyes host Mission City Thursday night at 7 p.m. in their final game before the Christmas break.

Richmond Sockeyes will look to conclude 2016 on a winning note when they host the Mission City Outlaws on Thursday at 7 p.m.
The Pacific Junior Hockey League club continues to get stellar play from rookie netminder Marek Pipes but goals have been hard to come by. The Sockeyes lead the 10-team league in goals allowed (71) but rank ninth in goals for with 89.
Richmond (14-9-2) dropped a 2-1 decision to North Vancouver last Thursday, then battled the Ridge Meadows Flames to a 2-2 tie one night later behind Pipes’ 37-save first star performance.
Connor Kavanagh and Roy McClure had Richmond goals.
The Sockeyes will be hosting the second annual PJHL Winter Classic, Jan. 1-3 which will see all teams play two games over three days at Minoru Arenas. Richmond will face Aldergrove on Jan. 1 and Surrey Jan. 3. Both games start at 7 p.m.
