National table tennis championships coming to Richmond next week

Athletes representing nearly every province and territory will compete for national glory at the Richmond Olympic Oval.

Athletes from nine provinces and two territories will be vying for the championship title at the Richmond Olympic Oval.

Table tennis athletes from across Canada will be in Richmond for the national championships next week.

The Richmond Olympic Oval will be the host venue for the 2025 Canadian Table Tennis Championship from July 18 to 23.

Teams from eight provinces and one territory will be competing for the champion title in the senior event and nine provinces and two territories will be competing in the junior event.

Athletes will be competing in a full slate of team and individual events.

“This is exactly what the Canadian Championships are meant to be—a celebration of talent, opportunity and national connection,” said Table Tennis Canada in a media release.

“It’s encouraging to see so many provinces and territories coming together in the same venue to showcase their best.”

The senior events will take place July 18 to 20, while the junior events will be from July 20 to 23.
