A 28-year-old man has been charged with aggravated assault after a stabbing incident near the Bridgeport Canada Line station.
Spencer Thompson, of White Rock, is alleged to have stabbed another man at around 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
The victim is reported to have tried to flee the attack by running along the tracks near the station.
Richmond RCMP said on Tuesday that the stabbing victim is in stable condition in hospital after having surgery on the wound.
