Halloween
Lots of colour and costume fun at the Minoru Park Halloween fireworks.

Halloween fireworks:

All shows are at 8:15 p.m. and last 15 minutes: At Hamilton (McLean Neighbourhood Park); South Arm (community centre); and West Richmond (community centre).


Halloween Movie Night:

Double Feature: Hotel Transylvania 2: 6:30 p.m.; Ghostbusters: 8:15 p.m.: Centre Community Centre, 5900 Minoru Blvd.

Bring blankets and lots of pillows to get comfortable watching two movies on the centre’s big projection screen. Free treat and popcorn available along with seats set up theatre style.

 

 Halloween Festival: 

At Minoru Park from 6:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m.: Don’t miss the live music, dance demonstrations, a magician, roving entertainers, children’s activities, an inflatable corn maze, trick-or-treating, fire juggling and a fireworks finale.

 

Halloween story and pictures: 

Get along to Richmond Public Library’s Brighouse Branch for “Once Upon an App - Halloween theme” from 7 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. to hear themed, traditional stories and songs.

Also, try “Green Screen Halloween Fun” from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.: Families can get their photo taken with green screen technology.
