Tourism Richmond, the agency that promotes all the great experiences the city has to offer, has welcomed two new directors to its leadership team.
Coming on board is Patrick Gill, who will be the new director of marketing. He previously worked at Destination BC, and here he’ll positioning Richmond as part of the Metro Vancouver experience.
He said Richmond’s diverse culinary scene makes it easy to market as a destination.
“I’m impressed by the truly unique breadth of experiences you can have in this city,” said Mr. Gill. “The (Tourism Richmond) team has done a great job of highlighting what Richmond has to offer.”
Ceri Chong has also been promoted to the newly created role of director of destination and industry development. She shares her expertise in travel, tourism and marketing with local businesses in Richmond.

“I truly enjoy engaging with our stakeholders and being able to provide them with programs to help grow their marketing and industry knowledge. Richmond has so much to offer visitors and residents alike,” she said.
