The Richmond Centre for Disability (RCD) is hosting a workshop for individuals with mobility aids, like wheelchairs and scooters, and how to stay safe during the winter conditions as part of their Empowered Wellness series.
Wheelin’ Mobility will present tricks and tips on how to stay safe during the wet rainy days and snowy weather, what to do with poorly maintained tires and how the temperature can cause air pressure to changes in tires.
The workshop will be held on Oct. 31 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at RCD’S centre located in Lansdowne Centre.
RCD is a non-profit charitable organization that helpsw people with disabilities to participate in the community to the fullest of their ability and encourages them to improve their quality of life by working for inclusion and independence.
