Richmond therapeutic riding charity hosting annual fundraiser

The Annual Spring Fundraiser for the Richmond Therapeutic Riding Association takes place Thursday, May 30 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Held at the Riverside Banquet, 14500 River Rd.

RTRA was founded in 1995 through the cooperative effort of a group of Richmond residents and the Richmond Committee On Disability, working in partnership with the City of Richmond’s Special Needs Section, which had identified the need for a therapeutic horseback riding program in the community.

The Annual Spring Fundraiser for the Richmond Therapeutic Riding Association takes place Thursday, May 30 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Held at the Riverside Banquet, 14500 River Rd., the event raises funds for an association which provides a quality therapeutic riding program for children and youth with disabilities.

Featured on the night will be a silent and live auction, dinner, wine pull and raffle.

Tickets are priced $40 per person and $10 for children 12 and under.
