If you order a Pirate Pak or a Legendary Burger at White Spot Richmond Centre on Christmas Day, you should probably be extra nice to your server.
After all, they’re working for free.
As has been a Christmas tradition for the past 18 years, White Spot staff will donate all their wages and tips to help keep the community healthy.
White Spot Richmond Centre will be serving lunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., with all proceeds going to the Richmond Hospital Foundation.
“There is definitely a joy in coming together to support local health care in Richmond. Our staff look forward to giving back and supporting this community through the Christmas Day luncheon,” states White Spot’s management team in a press release.
The Richmond Hospital Foundation and White Spot at Richmond Centre have maintained a strong relationship over the last 18 years raising money for local health care, notes the release.
“We are grateful to White Spot, their management team and staff, for continuing a heartwarming tradition to raise much needed funds to have a positive impact on health care in Richmond.” said Natalie Meixner, President and CEO of Richmond Hospital Foundation.
The funding raised over the years has helped the Richmond Hospital Foundation to upgrade medical equipment and facilities that enhance services for patients.
