He joined SAP in 2004, and has worked in multiple roles and various countries in the world since then.

Pan was a former engineer at Microsoft prior to his career at SAP and holds both a master’s degree and a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China.

Question: If you were premier for a day, what two pieces of legislation would you enact?:

I would enact a knowledge-based economy strategy act, to transform B.C.’s economy from natural resource-based economy to a knowledge-based economy, focusing on high value-added, clean high-tech industries, producing well-paid jobs for all British Columbians.

Secondly, I would enact an education reform act to admit to B.C.’s public education failure, and to fundamentally reform our public education system.

Question: If you had a theme song, what would it be?

You Raise Me Up - Josh Groban.
