Richmond World Festival

Richmond’s end-of-summer event is back for the fifth year. The free-admission world festival celebrates the city’s international culture. This year, the event features eight stages, over 100 performers – including headliners Bedouin Soundclash (Friday) and the Strumbellas (Saturday) – and more than 60 food trucks.

Aug. 30 – Sept. 2 (10 a.m. – 7 p.m.)

Richmond Sunflower Festival

Richmond’s first sunflower festival at Richmond Country Farms is entering its dog days, with just a couple weeks left to enjoy over 20 different varieties of sunflowers and dahlias. There’s also a beer and wine garden, weekend food trucks, yard games and performances. Tickets go for $8 on weekdays and $15 on weekends.

90’s Throwback Party at The Buck & Ear

If you’re looking for a night out this weekend, head over to the Buck for a dose of 90’s nostalgia, featuring DJ Nostalgie (and a few drink specials).
