Kudos: Richmond women's group donate to KPU foundation

CFUW Richmond presented a cheque for $40,000 to the Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU) Foundation.

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of CFUW in 2019, the club's Richmond chapter topped up its endowment fund with the KPU Foundation by $6,100 to reach a total of $40,000, which will allow the club to fund two $1,000 scholarships per year.

Donations to the fund have come from the club and individual members, plus donations from people in honour of club members.

The group, Canadian Federation of University Women, is a non-partisan, voluntary, self-funded organization with over 100 CFUW clubs, located in every province across Canada.
