This tournament is based on the annual Team izzat 3-on-3 event that has been running since 2004. The Team Izzat is a group of police officers and college students who volunteer on their time off to connect with youth through sports and educational programs.

Team izzat 3-on-3 is very well established with approximately 80-100 youth participating each year. Izzat means honour and respect in Punjabi and Hindi. Team izzat was created by S/Sgt Jet SUNNER while working with Richmond RCMP in 2004.

The inaugural Richmond RCMP/ICBC tournament will feature three divisions — Boys Grades 10-11, Boys Grades 8-9 and Girls Grades 8-10. Co-ed teams are permitted but must compete in a boys division.

Teams can range from three to five players and teams need to be registered by June 5. Register by sending an email to Please include all players names, phone numbers and division your team wishes to play in, as well as your team name. Every player gets a free t-shirt and pizza.
