An open letter to Dr. Meena Dawar and the Richmond school board: Please re-think your decision about opening schools too soon.

I have been so busy getting all of our garden beds ready for planting. With the May long weekend coming up, this is a traditional time to plant tender annuals, perennials and vegetables.

Dear Editor, Over the past number of weeks, I’ve noticed great activity at a particular gym. I know that Richmond parks and recreation, private gyms, sports organizations of all types have put their activities on hold for the foreseeable future.

Now is the time to research and plan a wine vacation once we are given the green light on travel and more social interaction. Naramata is a great choice being just a few minutes drive from Penticton.

Open letter to the City of Richmond: You seem to have your heads buried in the sand. You are proposing a two-per-cent reduction in property taxes? Where is your lead in taking pay cuts? A lot of businesses and people are out of work in Richmond.
