Environment Canada has issued a wind warning for most of the Lower Mainland ahead of an “intense front” that’s hitting the coast Monday afternoon.
Winds are expected to gust near 70 kilometres per hour and peak in the late afternoon or early evening.
“High winds may toss loose objects or cause tree branches to break,” the weather agency warns.
