Icy, cold commute in Richmond Tuesday morning

It’s another icy commute across this morning. While city crews have been salting and treating roads since Monday night, but commuters should still drive carefully with sub-zero temperatures and more snow on the way later today.

It’s another icy commute across this morning.

While city crews have been salting and treating roads since Monday night, but commuters should still drive carefully with sub-zero temperatures and more snow on the way later today.

Currently, commuters heading in and out of Richmond are seeing delays at the Alex Fraser Bridge, with traffic slow-moving along Highway 91 from near Kittison Parkway in Delta.

It’s also backed up along Highway 91A out of New Westminster.

Commuters heading out of the city on the Oak Street Bridge are facing delays along Highway 99 from near Westminster Highway.  

There’s also traffic at the Massey Tunnel. Heading into Richmond, traffic is backed up along Highway 99 from the SFPR.

Southbound traffic is slow-moving from near Mylora Golf Club.

There’s also a collision mid-span on the Knight Street Bridge in the southbound, right lane.
