The Richmond-based Spring Kings Division 1 team once again topped the Coast Hockey League in a three-game showdown last week.
Featuring local standouts such as recent Vancouver Giants graduate Carter Popoff, the team consisted of 11 Richmond players.
Backstopped by former Richmond Sockeyes Keystone Cup goaltender Kootenay Alder, the squad also included ‘Eyes Alumni Rudi and Sean Thorsteinson, Jeremy Hamaguchi, Keenan Webb, Arron Oakley, Kaizen Loo (Taking Picture) and Stephen Saretsky.
Former Delta Ice Hawk Aaron Merrick and the “King of Spring” Ryan Saretsky rounded out the Lulu Island group.
