The Richmond Rockets turned in an outstanding showing at the recent B.C. Short Track Speed Skating Championships in Abbotsford.
The event attracted 144 skaters from across the province and the Rockets contingent of eight athletes returned home with eight medals in their respective categories.
Avery Quinn and Lan-Vi Nguyen also advanced to this weekend’s Canada West Championships in Saskatoon.
