Noemie Thomas and Evan Dunfee set to compete in Rio

Evan Dunfee and Noemie Thomas are ready to tackle the world in Rio.
The Richmond athletes will be making their Olympic debuts and both have promising futures in their sport.
Here’s a look at each athlete as they get set to represent Canada, starting on Saturday.

Noemie Thomas
Age: 20
School: University of Cal Berkeley (junior)

Events: 100 metre butterfly
Competition dates: Aug 6 (preliminary heats and semi-finals), Aug. 7 (final).

Olympic team trials silver medalist (100 fly), 2015 Pan Am Games silver medalist (100 fly and 4x100 medley relay).
