The slugfest saw the teams combine for 25 hits with the Midget Mariners unleashing eight of the extra base variety.

They broke the game open with a five runs in the fifth inning, keyed by a tworun homer from Maricle. Jefferey Shih also drove in a pair of runs with a single, while Dylan Knight was credited with an RBI ground out.

Sandy Doyle added another home run in the fourth. Maricle and Shields capped their big nights by going deep in the fifth and third innings respectively.

In total, six Midget Mariner hitters combined for a whopping 14 hits, 14 RBI and 16 runs.
