Richmond Devils will look to stay unbeaten in the new year with a pair of games this weekend including Saturday (7:15 p.m.) at the Richmond Ice Centre.

The Richmond Devils continued their sizzling play in the new year by taking three of four points in Kamloops.
The Devils trimmed the Storm 2-1 on Saturday and played to a 2-2 draw Sunday to improve to 12-4-6 on the season and sit just four points back of the first place Meadow Ridge Moose in the South Coast Female Amateur Hockey League.
The locals have yet to lose in 2016 (6-0-2) and will look to continue their momentum against South Fraser TNT on Saturday night at the Richmond Ice Centre, then a key game Sunday on the road versus the second place Fraser Valley Jets (14-5-2).
Stefanie Costales’ second goal of the night with 5:03 remaining gave the Devils the series opening win in Kamloops. Katie Anderson was solid in net, making 23 saves.
Game two on Sunday morning saw the Storm rally with a pair of goals in the third period to earn a single point. Kelsey Wagner and Jodi Wong had given the Devils a 2-0 lead after the opening frame.
