RASA Division One frontrunners remain unbeaten after 4-0 win

Rino Tigers outlasted Richmond FC 4-3 in RASA Summer League Division One action last Thursday at King George Park.

Delta Blaze continued its torrid start to the RASA Division One Summer League season with a 4-0 victory over Westside last week.
The result lifted the Blaze’s unbeaten record to 4-0-1 and leaves them three points clear of the Rino Tigers (3-0-1) who were 4-3 winners over Richmond FC. The third game of the weekin Division One saw league newcomers Metropolitan (2-2-0) move into third place with a 1-0 victory over Binger’s Army (2-0-2) on a wet and windy night at King George Park.
In RASA Division Two action, the Rino Originals did all of their scoring in the final 45 minutes in a 3-0 victory over Tanoah FC. They took over in midfield and were soon up 2-0 on goals from Leo Ando and Austin Lee. Tanoaha tried to get back into the game but when Boris Nikic broke through and made it 3-0 it was all over.
Newcomers United Nations are also undefeated with three wins and two draws after a 5-0 win over South Delta FC (0-0-5). They are one point ahead of Rino and the All-Blacks (3-1-1).
In other Division Two games, All Blacks tied the Snipers (1-3-1) 1-1 and Bombastic (2-12) beat the Graduates (1-0-4) 3-0. Richmond Olympics (2-1-1) and EPFC (3-0-1) was rescheduled to a later date.
