Richmond’s Chris Crisologo has been named NCAA PING First-Team All-American by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA), marking the first time a Simon Fraser University golf team member has achieved this status.

Richmond’s Chris Crisologo has been named NCAA PING First-Team All-American by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA), marking the first time a Simon Fraser University golf team member has achieved this status.
Crisologo was a Third Team selection last year after being named to the All-America Second Team as a freshman in 2015.
The 2017 PING First-Team All-America honorees for Division II were announced by the GCAA following the stroke-play portion of the NCAA Division II Championships.
Earlier, Crisologo was named to the Division II PING All-Region West team for the third straight year.
The junior standout won four individual titles this season and was named Great Northwest Athletic Conference Player of the Year and All-Conference First Team for the second consecutive year.
Crisologo put together his most dominant season to date, finishing in the top 10 at seven of 10 tournaments. He averaged 71.07 strokes per round and carded scores under par in 19 of 28 rounds.
