Province approves jet fuel plan

The B.C. government's decision to grant an airline consortium environmental approval of its plan to barge jet fuel up the Fraser River has been branded "pathetic" and "misguided.

An 80-year-old man who was knocked down by a car while crossing Steveston Highway has died. The man sustained serious head injuries while crossing the highway at Trimaran Gate, near Railway Avenue, around 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 18.
