Video: Richmond driver adds new meaning to park 'n' fly

Some people on social media are wondering if it was an aborted take-off (warning, this video contains strong language)

A Richmond driver has come up with a new version of “park ‘n’ fly” which is creating some laughter on social media.

The incident happened on Wednesday evening at around 8:20 p.m. when a small Ford vehicle ended up balanced in the air on top of a concrete barrier near Vancouver International Airport.

Facebook user Sherry Lee caught the moment on camera while travelling on Miller Road near YVR.

Lee told the Richmond News that it was pure coincidence that the actual park ‘n’ fly bus drove behind the stricken vehicle just as she took the photo.

She did add that she hoped the driver involved was OK.

Others on social media wondered if the driver had a pilot’s license, while another questioned if it was an aborted take-off.
