A cement truck driver escaped with minor injuries after his vehicle flipped onto its side on Westminster Highway earlier this week.
The accident happened at around 11 a.m. on Tuesday, close to No. 7 Road.
Richmond RCMP told the Richmond News that the single occupant of the truck suffered only minor injuries but did not need to go to hospital.
According to the driver, the rear of the truck slid towards a ditch during a turn which resulted in the vehicle flipping onto its side.
Neither speed nor alcohol were factors, say police, and no other vehicles were involved.
