Safety shoes recalled across Canada - because they're unsafe

A brand of safety shoes is being recalled by Health Canada – because they’re unsafe.

The Mellow Walk Quentin Safety Shoe, according to the federal authority, doesn’t meet protection standards and is an “injury hazard.”

The products being recalled are the brand’s men’s steel-toe Quentin boots sizes 9.5 and 11, neither of which meet the compliance test for impact performance.

More than 4,000 pairs of the shoes have been sold across Canada, at retailers such as Mark’s, formerly known as Mark’s Work Wearhouse.

What to do

Stop using the recalled Quentin safety shoes and dispose of the product.
