The Friday commute is already off to a slow start.
A stalled vehichle, southbound, in the Massey Tunnel is now cleared, after blocking the right lane for over an hour. Two southbound lanes are open, but commuters should expect delays due to heavy congestion. Traffic is backed up along the East-West Connector between No. 6 and No. 7 roads and along Highway 99 up to Bridgeport Road.
Canada Line trains to Vancouver are currently stopping at Broadway-City Hall station, due to the climate protests in downtown Vancouver. If you are catching a train from Waterfront, expect up to a 10-minute delay.
Commuters coming out of downtown Vancouver this evening should also expect delays after the strike has ended.
