A number of Richmond-based lacrosse players tasted success on the weekend at the 2022 BCLA provincial championships in Langley.
Eight local players took part in combined Richmond/Vancouver teams in the U18, U15 categories held at Willloughby and Yorkson Community Parks.
The U18 boys made it all the way to the final, beating the New Westminster team 8-6 in the tier 2 gold medal game.
While the U15 boys almost emulated their older clubmates, going down 10-4 in their tier 2 gold medal game to Mission to claim the silver.
