It will be a wet first week of the year for Richmond.
Saturday will see about 15 to 25 mm of rain, according to Environment Canada, with southeast winds of 30 km/h that will increase to 50 km/h gusting to 70 km/h this afternoon. Temperature will reach a high of 9 degrees.
While the rain will ease to a 60 per cent chance of showers Saturday evening, it's only a short break as rain is expected for most of the week.
Sunday will see about 5 mm of rain, with wind arriving early in the morning. The temperature will remain steady around 7 degrees Celsius.
The rain will continue on Monday (high of 8 degrees), Tuesday (high of 7 degrees) and Wednesday (high of 9 degrees) however, Thursday is forecasted to be cloudy with a 60 per cent chance of showers which eases to just a 30 per cent chance of showers on Friday.
Both Thursday and Friday should see highs of 10 degrees.
