A report on public art projects for the Minoru precinct can be viewed here. The new Minoru aquatics and seniors complex as well as the new Fire Hall No. 1 to be built by 2017 will have an art budget of $641,000. This money comes from the overall project budget, representing one per cent of it.
$250,000 will be spent on the complex front entry.
Meanwhile, Cambie Fire Hall No. 3 will see $90,000 directed to public art. The $20.7 million hall will be a joint venture with BC Ambulance Services. You can read the art project report here.
