Richmond Mounties are asking for help after vandals sprayed anti-Semitic graffiti in the 4400-block of Blundell Avenue.
Police are now investigating the series of what appear to be hate graffiti tags, and are asking the public to keep their eyes and ears out for any information which may lead them to those responsible.
“We treat any cases that involve the incitement of hatred very seriously,” said Cpl. Stephanie Ashton, media relations officer for Richmond RCMP.
“When someone uses hateful language in a public way, it victimizes everyone from that community.”
RCMP are asking the public to call them if they see any criminal or suspicious activity.
The public can call Richmond RCMP directly at 604-278-1212 or if they wish to remain anonymous call Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
