A dog who’s been missing for more than two weeks was spotted again in Richmond.
Littlefoot, a rescue dog from Thailand who owner Jocelyn Aspa is desperate to be reunited with, was spotted around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday in the park at RC Talmey elementary.
Then, Wednesday morning, someone else called to tell Aspa they saw him nearby on Cunningham Drive near Capstan Way.
“I’m trying not to get too excited because I’ve had false hope two other times when we almost had him,” Aspa told the Richmond News. “I’m trying to stay level. Whatever happens, happens.”
She’ confident the sightings were Littlefoot because the callers described the back with blue collar he was wearing when he went missing.
On Dec. 2, Aspa’s boyfriend Mike took Littlefoot for a walk while he was home alone. Mike has epilepsy, and had a seizure near Prince Edward Street and East 10th Avenue in Vancouver. When he came to, Littlefoot was gone.
The dog was nearly caught days later by Vancouver animal control, but escaped. On Friday, he was spotted near Lansdowne Centre and appears to still be in Richmond.
Aspa sent her private pet detective, Al, down to Richmond Wednesday to search for Littlefoot.
He’s a timid, skittish dog and Aspa asks those who see him not to approach him so they don’t scare him away.

Another sighting, someone just called me to say Littlefoot is in the area, around Cunningham Dr in Richmond. Thank you for keeping your eyes peeled. He was there last night AND is there again now. Said his collar is black with blue on it which is correct. #findlittlefoot
