All roads now lead to Toronto in May for Richmond's Miss Universe Canada hopeful Kamilah Sturton.
Sturton, 21, managed to raise in the region of $2,000 for her chosen charities - Canadian Cancer Society and Operation Smile - from her own PassionArt event at the Magee Theatre in Vancouver recently.
"I can't thank everyone enough for their support ... I feel very blessed," said ballet dancer Sturton, who lives in Terra Nova.
The MacNeill and Magee secondaries grad is now preparing for the Miss Universe Canada pagaent on May 19 in Toronto, where she'll compete against 59 other talented young Canadian women.
Sturton only entered the competition at a very late stage after injuring herself while preparing to go on tour with a ballet company.
