Letters: Facts, not assumptions, needed when reporting Kamloops discovery

Richmond News reader is desperate for facts when it comes to the reporting of the potential discovery of children's bodies at the site of a former Kamloops residential school

Dear Editor,

I would like to thank David Baines on his recent concise, informative letter to the editor re: “Facts amiss in Kamloops.”

It has always been my belief that it was the job of the media to relate the facts, not to assume, surmise and create the stories that are being reported.

I guess it’s true, times really are “a changin’. “
