Gateway Theatre’s fifth production of the season has been cancelled.
Skyborn was set to run from March 19 to 28.
The announcement, made by executive director Camilla Tibbs and interim producer Barbara Tomasic on the Gateway Theatre’s website, states its partner Savage Society “made the difficult decision” to withdraw the play, but adds they support this decision.
“We are grateful for the incredible support that Gateway has given to this production, and this was a very difficult decision to make,” said Savage Society’s artistic director Kevin Loring and managing producer Chelsea Carlson. “We are saddened at the inconvenience to Gateway Theatre and its audiences.”
Ticket holders will be contacted for refund/exchange options.
