Richmond Mounties are asking the public to keep an eye out for a missing 57-year-old man.
Brent Oldfield arrived from at YVR from Australia on Oct. 2 and was last seen at the airport at around 8 p.m. on that day, wearing a black toque, black shirt, and a black fanny pack.
Police believe it is out of character for Oldfield to be out of touch with his family and are now seeking the public’s help in tracking him down.
The RCMP say he may have traveled to Sechelt or may be staying in a hotel somewhere in the Lower Mainland.
“We just want to make sure he is OK, to reassure his family in Australia they don’t need to worry about him,” said Cpl. Stephanie Ashton, of Richmond RCMP.
