Environment Canada is warning of strong winds near the Strait of Georgia.

High winds as such may result in power outages and fallen tree branches.

A special weather statement is currently in effect for Richmond and other Metro Vancouver areas including the city of Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster, West Vancouver, North Vancouver, Surrey, Langley and Delta.
