As Richmond streets and parks come alive with stunning pink blooms, the deadline for Richmond News’ first-ever Cherry Blossom photo contest fast approaches.

People interested in sharing cherry blossom photos with us must do so by Monday, April 11.

The winner will be given a $50 gift card. But, we warn you, the competition is stiff. We have already received over a hundred entries and have to conclude that Richmond has almost as many fantastic photographers as cherry trees.

If you have a photo featuring cherry blossoms, please submit it to Richmond News at [email protected] and put Cherry Blossom Contest in the subject line.

Also, remember to tell us where and when you took the photo.

After the contest, we will post a selection of the best photos online.
